You landed on the ground with ease before placing Shoichi down.
"Thank you." He whispered, feeling bashful when you smiled down at him.
You set Zenitsu down on the ground before sitting besides him, Shoichi joining your side.
It wasn't long before he woke up, staring up ahead in a daze.
"Zenitsu! Are you alright?!" Shoichi asked, tears of worry in his eyes.
"Yeah, I'm alright. Why are you crying?" Zenitsu said while blinking in his direction.
"You weren't waking up so he was worried." You mentioned, leaning over so you came in his point of view.
"Ah! [L/N]-san, you said you would protect me!!" Zenitsu whined, grabbing your sleeve and tugging it.
"I was suddenly by the entrance so I thought I should protect Tanjiro's box. He was really worried about it." You explained.
Zenitsu pouted and your heart almost stopped over how adorable he was.
"Okay..." He mumbled.
The sound of laughter reached your ears and you all turned to witness the doors to the entrance break apart.
"Comin' through! Comin' through!"

He looked around for a moment before zeroing in on Tanjiro's box.
"I sense a demon!"
He ran towards the box with his dual swords raised, intending to slice up the box but ended up stumbling to a stop as Zenitsu rushed over and put his arms out in a protective manner.
"Stop! I won't let you touch this box!" Zenitsu yelled.
"Hey, hey! What are you saying?! There's a demon in there! Dont you know that?!" Inosuke questioned back in disbelief.
"Of course I knew that! I knew from the start!" Zenitsu closed his eyes while speaking up.
But soon, he opened them, gazing up at Inosuke with a glare.
"I plan to ask Tanjiro when he comes out so, until then, you better back off!"
Inosuke let out a huff before raising his foot, intending to harm Zenitsu.
"No need to resort to violence, kid."
Inosuke felt a shiver run down his spine as he hadn't sensed your presence until you grabbed his foot.
His interest moved onto you and he removed his foot from your grasp before swinging his right sword in your direction.
You avoided the weapon but pressed your fingers against the flat side of the blade as it swiped past you, placing enough pressure against it to send it into the ground.
Inosuke's sword was embedded into the ground and he let out a grunt as he attempted to pull it out.
"Why can't I get it out?!" He exclaimed in annoyance.
"Don't worry, kid. I'll take it out for you when we're done with this little game."
Steam escaped Inosuke's mask and he swung his remaining sword wildly to express his anger.
"Stop calling me kid! I'm Hashibira Inosuke and this isn't a game! Fight me woman!!"
He tried to harm you with his sword once again but it ended the same way as before.
In the ground.
Inosuke didn't give up though and charged towards you, pulling his arm back and sending a fist your way.
You remained relaxed, easily catching his fist and closing your hand around it.
"Are you done, Hashibira-san?"
Inosuke let out a cry and sent his other fist which also was caught.
"What do you want to do now?"
The way your smile dropped as you leaned closer, peering past the mask to gaze into Inosuke's eyes had another shiver run down his spine.
You allowed him to release himself and jump back to create a distance. He intended to move forward and fight once more but another presence interrupted the fight...or game, as you claimed it to be.
"Stop!"
Tanjiro rushed forward and planted a punch against Inosuke, sending him flying away and also breaking his rib in the process.
"Don't you understand why [L/N]-san hasn't drawn their sword?! A demon slayer corps member can only use it for combat!" Tanjiro spoke with frustration, his hands curling up to show how he felt.
Inosuke only laughed before tilting his head forward to gaze at Tanjiro.
"Is that you're problem? Fine! Let's fight bare handed!"
Inosuke stood up, ready to beat the crap out of Tanjiro but he felt a sudden strike to the back of his neck.
Slowly losing his energy, Inosuke slumped forward with his mask falling off and revealing his face.
"Huh?? A girl?!" Zenitsu yelled before realising how stupid that claim was when Inosuke was clearly confirming his gender by being shirtless.
"You got a problem with my face?!" Inosuke managed to yell as he stumbled around, trying not to fall.
You, who had been the one to strike him, put your arm out in time to catch him as he began to slowly lose consciousness.
"No, I think it's small and fair!" Tanjiro tried to compliment but Inosuke took it as an insult.
His eyes finally shut but before he could be taken away to the land of dreams, he had one more thing to say.
"I'll...kill you."
