These rich and crumbly Christmas shortbread cookies are out of this world amazing!

Ingredients you need for the Christmas Star Cut-Out Cookies

Les biscuits sablés :1 bâton (120g) de beurreUne pincée (2 g) de sel3/4 tasse (90 g) de sucre glace3 cuillères à soupe (15 g) de poudre d'amande1 oeuf entier1/2 tasse + 1 1/2 tasse (60 g + 180 g) de farine tout usageglaçage1 et 1/2 tasse (180 g) de sucre à glacer1/2 cuillère à café d'extrait de vanille (facultatif)2 cuillères à soupe (30l) d'eau, à température ambiante

Directions

Les biscuits :
1.
Préchauffez votre four à 360°F (180°C).

2. Crémer le beurre et le sucre dans un bol et le sel, les amandes moulues, l'œuf et 1/2 tasse (60 g) de farine.

3. Une fois le mélange hom*ogène ajouter 1 1/2 tasse (180g) de farine et mélanger rapidement, sans trop travailler la pâte. Faire une boule, l'emballer dans du plastique et laisser reposer au réfrigérateur pendant 1 heure.

4. Étalez la pâte sur une surface farinée et découpez autant de biscuits que possible avec un emporte-pièce étoile.

5. Transférer sur une plaque recouverte de papier sulfurisé ou d'un tapis de cuisson en silicone . Cuire environ 15 minutes au four.

Le glaçage :
1. fouetter le sucre glace, la vanille et 2 cuillères à soupe d'eau dans un bol moyen. Il doit être assez épais. S'il est beaucoup trop épais, ajouter quelques gouttes d'eau. Vous savez que c'est la bonne consistance lorsqu'un ruban de glaçage tient pendant quelques secondes lorsque vous fouettez avant de fondre dans le glaçage. Couvrir le glaçage hermétiquement et conserver au réfrigérateur jusqu'à 2 jours si vous ne décorez pas tout de suite.

2. Transférer le glaçage dans une assiette peu profonde. Tremper les biscuits à l'envers dans le glaçage en les tenant par les côtés. Vous pouvez en profiter tout de suite ou vous pouvez attendre 24 heures que le glaçage prenne et durcisse.

Remarque : n'hésitez pas à décorer davantage : nous avons utilisé une tête d'épingle pour faire de petit* points de la surface de glaçage. Laissez votre inspiration vous guider !
